Sims 3 Cant Use Chairs With Show Floor For Tables

I recently bought a table for my sim to do hw on but somehow i can t make him do it.

Even when i put a chair in front of the table. Dining chairs are designed to be used in front of objects such as dining tables desks and chess sets that sims use while sitting. Go to manage worlds and create a household to move in as your neighbor. Chairs and stools can t even be clicked because there are no interaction options.
